SouthPark Phase 1 Continues

Our work reshaping the wings of the current Worship Center building into NextGen space continues on schedule and on budget. Our building partners regularly report to the church staff leaders and elders about the ongoing progress in the wings of the building, and everything is really taking shape.
This past month, concrete slab work was completed in several spaces, both filling new footings and replacing areas that had been torn up for plumbing and other underground and leveling work.
After updating structural steel adjustments in both wings, the team began framing interior walls and working on in-wall electrical and plumbing. On the horizon is completing the wall frames and beginning to hang the drywall and place insulation, as well as some exterior building insulation and finishing. You’ll keep seeing changes in the coming weeks!
Our staff teams are actively planning out timelines for moving NextGen into the spaces once they’re ready. We’ll roll those out to you when we have the plans locked in. Thank you for your continued flexibility as we make space to help people find and follow Jesus.
