Through your generosity to New City’s Here, Near, & Far vision, God has allowed us to update and use our facilities not only for church, but also to support partners who are doing work in our city and beyond.

One of our key Here, Near, & Far partners is Congregations for Kids (CFK),a non-profit dedicated to empowering the Church and community to champion lasting resilience for kids experiencing foster care.

As CFK has grown, their need for a larger workspace has grown as well. We are happy to announce that later this year, Congregations for Kids will become a tenant at our New City Matthews facility on Monroe Road.This move will provide their team more than double their current functional workspace while allowing them to remain flexible and strategically positioned to meet the needs of the kids and families they serve. The move will also continue to support the long-term sustainability of the organization.

Before they take full occupancy of their new space, the CFK team will be working out of our newly renovated City Cooperative building where New City’s staff and other local ministry partners have offices.

We are excited for the ways that this relocation will move this key ministry partner closer to New City and support the work they are doing with vulnerable kids in the Charlotte area.
