Isaiah 117 House Opens in York County

One of our focuses in the greater Charlotte area as part of the "near" aspect of the Here, Near, & Far vision, is working with ministry partners who are addressing the needs of foster care in our community. One of these partners is Isaiah 117 House in York County, South Carolina.
On Sunday, September 28, the ribbon was cut and the new Isaiah 117 House home was officially opened. Local leaders, including the Department of Social Services and True Homes (who led the build), joined Isaiah 117 House staff in dedicating this new place of hope.
Isaiah 117 House is a nonprofit ministry that provides a safe, loving home for children entering foster care. Instead of waiting in a social services office—often scared, hungry, and without belongings—children are welcomed into a warm, caring environment with volunteers who meet their immediate needs.
This new house in York County means children in our community will now experience comfort, dignity, and love during a critical transition. They will know they are not alone.
