The Mecklenburg County Isaiah 117 House shared their vision and celebrated the work God's already doing at a lunch and dinner on Tuesday, September 15. A team of volunteers worked hard for two days, setting up, cleaning, removing trash, helping cars get parked, and more.

And the guests came: they listened to the stories, they cried, they clapped, and they reached into their pockets and gave—over $300K.

This incredible success means that Isaiah 117 House is well on the way to changing how foster care begins in Mecklenburg County.

Through the generosity of a donor, the team will close this month on the ownership transfer of donated land for the house, and they have a builder ready to build the house at cost. God is moving through this team and the passion they have for foster care Near, in Mecklenburg.
