In the Here, Near & Far vision, New City has committed to serving those in our city, particularly in the areas of foster care and mental health. Congregations for Kids (CFK), a "near" partner, has been at the forefront of providing pathways for churches, businesses, families, and individuals to foster, mentor, serve, and give to meet the needs of foster kids since its inception.

Gen Bowden, CFK's Executive Director, writes, "As we move into the second half of 2025, I am deeply grateful for the way church partners like New City are showing up for kids in foster care. Your willingness to go 'all in' with your time, treasure, and talent is making a real difference, and we don’t take it for granted."
