We are making space at New City SouthPark for people to find and follow Jesus. Here, Near, & Far Phase 2 construction is underway! This season presents a number of complexities, and we will keep them updated here.

Courtyard is Closed

Construction has begun in the Courtyard and access through that space is now closed. Please plan to enter and exit the Worship Center through the East Lobby, facing Carmel Park. If you typically park on the Colony Road side of the building, we encourage you to plan to use the shuttle at Carmel Middle School or park on the Carmel Park side—there will be handicap spaces available and if you have someone who needs to be dropped off, just let our parking team know. In order to leave space for visitors, we encourage you to come early to the Carmel Middle School parking lot (5001 Camilla Dr, Charlotte, NC 28226) and ride the shuttle to New City SouthPark for the 9:30 or 11:00 am services.

This fall, there will be major storm drain work under our parking lot, so we’ll lose use of many of our spots. In preparation, and to deal with the parking crunch we already feel, we run shuttle buses from Carmel Middle School’s parking lot (5001 Camilla Dr, Charlotte, NC 28226). Come early, park at Carmel Middle School, and ride one of three shuttles to the East Lobby entrance. Shuttles will pick you up at the end of service and return you to Carmel Middle School.

New Service Times | Begin July 30

Starting July 30, we will be launching an early weekend service on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm, and will shift to two services on a Sunday morning, at 9:00 and 11:00 am (starting August 2). The early weekend services on Thursdays will be the same as the upcoming Sunday's services, including kids programming from babies through Middle School.

We invite you to pray about whether God is calling you to make a missional move to attend on Thursdays during this season, in order to make space for guests and parking over the next year. We also recognize that this service may be helpful for those who plan to travel on a weekend or have Sunday conflicts.
