Lent Devotional
The journey through the six weeks of Lent is a journey downward, as we follow Jesus toward the cross. Lent invites us to come face to face with the reality of our sin and realize our utter dependence on God’s grace.
The story of Jonah is a helpful companion for our Lenten journey. Holding the story of Jonah before us as a mirror, we see that Jonah, too, is a journey downward. It invites us to acknowledge the ways we mistrust God and how we run from God’s best and God’s way.
Join us on this journey by spending time in Jonah using this devotional as a guide. We pray these devotions will encourage you and challenge you in this season as we follow Jesus toward the cross.
