Academy: Practicing the Way – Foundations for Spiritual Growth

What does it mean to grow and be formed into a mature believer in Christ? How does a follower of Jesus experience a relationship with God that results in becoming a more joyful, loving, and content person?

Spiritual formation happens in partnership with the spirit of God, but we can’t ignore that there are many other things that challenge our spiritual formation.

In this course, we will:

• Discuss what spiritual formation is.

• Grow in our understanding of how our experiences, relationships, habits and environments contribute to our formation.

• Learn and begin practicing rhythms that help us experience connection with God.

There are two course offerings for Practicing the Way – Foundations

Offering One: Online and self-led

Walk through this course online, learning at your own pace and on your own time. We encourage you to find a friend and go through the course together.

Offering Two: In-person

Journey with others as you take this course in a group setting at City Co-Op (931 Industrial Dr. Matthews, NC).

Dates: Sundays, September 21–November 21 from 11:00 am–12:00 pm

Please note that children will attend their NextGen classrooms during the 11:00 am Sunday morning service.
