Academy–Covenants: God's Promises from Eden to the New Jerusalem

We serve a God who makes promises and keeps them. We see this in the Bible from the garden in Genesis to a city in Revelation. Over seven weeks, this course traces every major covenant God established with his people: 

• Adam

• Noah

• Abram/Abraham

• Moses

• David

• Culminating in Jesus Christ. 

We'll read each promise the way it was first given, in its own language, to its own audience, in its own time and place.  We will see how each one builds on the last, revealing more of God's awesome character and culminating the whole story toward the cross. Whether you're opening the Bible for the first time or have read it for decades, this study hands you the thread that ties all of scripture together. You'll come away seeing that God's promises were never a series of disconnected deals, but a single grand plan of redemption.  The same faithful God who kept his word to Abraham and David has kept it to you in Christ.
